OK – right now I will way we have had the flu at our house.  some of us got it hard and some of us just got a light cough and some of us didn’t get sick at all.  Those who got it hard were worn out and in the habit of eating junk food.  The rest of us took one of my many anti-plague remedies.

I could write a long or multi-part article series but I decided to write my ideas and remedies into a PDF and you can get it free by subscribing to this blog.  Now as you can see from the archives I don’t write all that often so don’t worry about getting hit with a new blog entry every week.

I ignored it until it got rather concerning. Now I am not a fan of going to doctors or chiropractor at the drop of a hat but I was getting a bit concerned!

But I remembered the Egoscue exercises and that there are specific ones for shoulder problems so I began the menu yesterday. I have to tell you that while I was doing them I was a bit skeptical as my back ached even more while it was settling into the positions. But I hung in there and did the full course without shortcuts and you know what! The pain is reduced by 50% easily and the tingling is GONE!

Besides the shoulder problem isn’t the only difference I felt. I have a bunion that gives me fits and the arch in that foot burns after walking for a while. Well, that was gone too.

I have had to weigh the chances one takes with conventional medicine vs. alternative medicine like Colloidal Silver or Garlic.  Neither side is without “guilt”.  Both alternative medicine and conventional medicine have their benefits.  Personally, I feel strongly that the body is “intelligent” and will heal itself given time and porper nutrients.  Alternative medicine encourages this line of thinking by using natural medicines from herbs, minerals, phytonutrients, pure water, fresh air…

I would use conventional medicine for “mechanics”:  like fixing a broken limb, stitching up a gaping wound, and such.  I have been known to use OTC meds for unbearable pain.  But I always ask: is this something the body can “fix” by itself if given enough time and attention to good nutrition?

I have come to believe that whatever you use, you must inform yourself and make an educated decision.  I try to get primary sources of information and research, not just info that is disguised as an advertisement.  I keep in mind that even research is somewhat biased often basing the research on a faulty premise.  I read info from both points of view, digest it and then (after prayer) proceed with confidence  until I learn something that may significantly change my point of view.

Ultimately, I believe each responsible adult must make their own decision (and decisions for their own family) which methods work even using one or the other together.

I hope for a day when both kinds of medicine can be found being used together taking advantage of each form of healing all for the ultimate good of the patient.  It won’t be too soon though as there is too much money in drugs and insurance for our conventional medicine brothers to let go of their interests.

Meanwhile I am thankful that intelligent adults can still choose.  After all, it should be a choice.

The small skin cancers (squamous cell keratosis) I have all over my body are more ugly than dangerous, anyway.  My dad is 77, has it all over the sun exposed parts of his body and his doctor “burns” it off with silver nitrate, leaving horrible ugly scarring all over.  I don’t know what is worse.

Anyway, it’s the regular brown moles I have all over that I watch.  So when two of them were suspicious I decided to practice what I know.  Read the earlier posts to find out more.

There is scarring on my arms and legs where I tested the VE and neat little white “plug” pulled out of my skin.  I am assuming it was the cancerous spot and the surrounding tissue.  But I know for a fact that when you get a cancer biopsy they take a CHUNK of skin, not just the mole in question, and you get a scar, too.  Either way, there will be a scar!  I look at it this way – I saved time, money and anguish using VE and doing it at home.

There are more choices to cure cancer than conventional medicine will admit.  I am not here to get into why they won’t consider more natural, less intrusive ways to cure disease but really what it is all about is faith.  Your own faith in something to get you well.  Faith that the herbs will work or faith that chemotherapy will work or the surgery will get it all.  Faith that it will just go away with a prayer…

Ultimately it takes faith to live, move, relate, etc.  I am talking about a general kind of faith, not a religious faith (though faith in God has supplied me strength to get through each day – with or without cancer). 

No, the faith that I mean here is really believing you will get well doing what you’re doing.  Not a wishy washy, “I should have done this or that” kind of faith.  But confident, “I will live fully till I die” kind of faith.

 Whatever it is we do in life…how we relate to our spouse, what job we decide to take, the philosophy of life, source of life, all takes faith!  I hope that you, reader, know who you are, why you are here, Who is in control, – have purpose; direction; FAITH; or you will wander from one idea to another, one religion to another, one kind of cancer cure to another, etc

Life is full of choices.  The AMA and the FDA has forced their view of disease cure when there are other viable more effective choices.  Use your God-given brain.  Study and research.  Make a decision and then go for your decision – IN FAITH. 

(dare I say this) You will have a better chance to get over any disease using drugs and conventional medicine if you do it in faith than if you sort of, kind of “try” herbs, half believing they will work for you.

And change I have.  I am detoxing suing Vitae Elixxir.  Drinking carrot juice twice a day, LOTS of water, began an exercise program  ala PACE, and thinking more on the lines that this is like having a cold and will breeze through a cure.  I know it will take time and dedication and I am ready for that.

I did apply Vitae Elixxir (VE) tothe two moles I am concerned with.  Actually I began on January 1 this year and now after two applications these suspicious moles have made an amazing transformation.  VE is dark purple so the spots are stained and dark in the first place.  but the amazing thing is the skin around the area is bright red and just inside the treated area is a white ring.  Now this ring is not pus.  It is hard to describe but it seems to be a collection of dead tissue.  [From my test spots on my arm I know this isn't bad as these spots had the white ring that developed into a white "plug" which just sort of fell out after two weeks of treatment.  this has left a small scar which has filled in and I assume will fade like any scar.]

The spots aren’t sore per se, the one under my arm itches.  The one on my should er did ache for three days but it isn’t a bother at all now – just looks aweful.

What To Look For

We all need to look for unusual moles: moles that are sore, itchy, rough, fast growing, black or blood red.  Any one or more of these symptoms should cause you to watch carefully.

I have found several rough, itchy moles that are sore as well as hundreds of flat, shiney round patches.  So, I am taking steps to stop and reverse the symptoms.

I have learned of a very successful treatment quietly promoted by word of mouth (email me and I’ll pass on the contact info for the product).  It is called Vitae Elixxir and is a special combination of herbs and minerals.  I have used it for a month now.  My first “tests” were on what is called squamous keratosis – a fairly benign cancer that makes nearly invisible but rough spots on the skin.  they are all over my forearms and calves. 

I dabbed the somewhat pastey goo on three areas.  The one on my forearm was the one I watched the most for obvious reasons.   It’s been a month and now there is no flat patch but a pink scar.   If you are interested to know what the day by day treatment was like, make a comment and I’ll pass it on.

I’ll go into the moles that I have on my shoulder and under my arm tomorrow!

Once again – the cut was deep and long and in the palm of his hand – not a good place for a cut to be for an active guy!  But we washed it with hydrogen peroxide (3%) and dusted it with slippery elm powder twice a day for  two days then once a day till it stayed closed and dry.  We packed it with sterile gauze and wrapped it with sticky ace type bandages. 

Hope this gives you the confidence to try it at home!  Use common sense though.

We wrapped it well and he went about his day.  That night we washed it again with the H2O2, repacked it with slippery elm as they continued to do once or twice a day since.  I forgot about it, frankly, as they took over the cleaning, packing etc.  Last night I looked at it and WOW.  The ends are all closed up neat and tidy.  The middle half inch is closing up and has a nice scab.  What a testimony to doing with God’s herbs!  No stitches and ugly “railroad track” scaring.  NO agonizing trip to the ER and long wait.  no $$$!

Where did I get the idea of the slippery elm?  Years ago I read “10 Essential Herbs” by Lalitha Thomas.  One of my favorite beginner books on herbs. 

What a subject for a first post but I had to get this down before too much time passed.

We “natural cures” fans are thrilled to find cures for diseases from cancers of all kinds to diabetes, heart disease and even AIDS.  We are thrilled because we can have some say in how the illness will be dealt with.  We call the shots so to speak.  And doing it for ourselves is less expensive, too.

Expense always was a factor in the beginning.  I believe chiropractic and osteopathy are very useful and viable alternatives to back surgery and other intrusive intervention.  But with a large family on a small budget, even when we had insurance, we just couldn’t pay for the deductibles. 

So, what is a budget conscious natural cures fan to do?  You can’t just be your own chiropractor. 

Well, the answer to the question came when I asked my osteopath basically the same question.  I told him straight up that we just could not keep coming to him all the time and did he know if there were some things folks could do to help maintain the adjustments and perhaps eliminate visits.

Imagine my doctor’s reply.  He said that he was aware of a book that told how to do your own back care through simple body positions and gentle exercises.  He was rather hesitant about bringing it up though, as he admitted that it would eliminate the need to visit him.  But this man was more humanitarian that profiteer.

The name of the book: The Egoscue Method of Health Through Motion: Revolutionary Program That Lets You Rediscover the Body’s Power to Rejuvenate It by Pete Egoscue.  I am here to tell you it has kept me from needing to see him anymore!!  This stuff works and when I get numb in my hand due to over staying at the computer, I do a few simple moves and it goes away.  Bad headaches?  9 out of 10 are due to tension and strain in the back and neck. 

There are simple positioning exercises that “naturally” get rid of the pain.  Sometimes it took 20 to 45 minutes for just one or two days sometimes longer, but I ask you:  We all can afford time for the things that are important to us.  Hey, it takes up to an hour to visit the doctor if you include the trip, the wait, and the actual adjustment time.

Borrow or buy this book.  You will not be sorry and think of the dollars and trips to the DC or Osteopath!
